This unusual ceramic necklace is designed by the Auroville artist Birgitta Volz. The necklace is crafted with thin shimmering ceramic pieces. The chain is made from high-quality stainless steel jewelry wires covered with a hypoallergenic, skin-friendly nylon coating.

How to care for your colored Gold-in-Glass Jewelry: Under normal circumstances, the jewelry is solid and the gold is preserved in glass forever in perfect condition, the silver will never tarnish. Please avoid dropping them on a hard surface. Roll wires gently in a circular fashion to keep them in their natural shape. Most of our fittings are made from hypoallergenic (nickel-free) alloys and are suitable for people with a sensitivity to nickel. They have real gold or silver plating, which is not permanent in the tropical climate. To clean the fittings, use a brass or silver polish.
