Feta is undoubtedly one of the most famous Greek cheeses. The texture depends on the age which can be extremely creamy, or crumbly dry. Upon maturation of 2 months, feta is sold in blocks submerged in the brine. The cheese can be used as table cheese or melted on a traditional Greek salad, spanakopita, pizza or pie.

No. Freezing changes the texture and flavor and may shorten shelf life.
How long will my cheese last?
Shelf life varies by cheese type. Fresh cheeses should be consumed sooner, while aged cheeses keep longer when refrigerated properly. Please read the instructions mentioned in the product details to know specifics.
Why is there mold on my cheese?
Many cheeses naturally develop mold as part of the aging process. In most cases, this does not mean the cheese has spoiled. Surface mold can simply be scraped off if desired.
Why does my cheese look different from a previous purchase?
Because our cheeses are handmade and naturally aged, slight variations in flavor, texture, and appearance are normal and expected.
Why is there a coating on some cheeses?
Some aged cheeses are coated during maturation. This coating is not edible and should be removed before serving.
