Looking at Children's Paintings in a new Light (BOOK)

During a research project conducted in the Kindergarten of Auroville, the author had been exploring the themes of "Painting through concentration " and "Universal signs in children's paintings".

Through this work, she met Arno Stern, the creator of the "Play of Painting". Since then, the Play of Painting has developed in Auroville and now (2016) there are four ateliers. Painting freely in a structured group is an activity that fills the child with wonder. Colors and shapes appear on the blank paper as if by magic. Through this mirror of her deepest being, the child discovers the joy, the peace and the beauty inherent to it.
