The beauty products that you need when you are exhausted

Whether it was a late night reading the latest bestseller, a fun night out that lasted until the sun came up or just turning from one side to the other, it’s always hard to get over a short night. And even if you can hit the snooze button, chances are high that you will spend the day feeling (and possibly looking) exhausted.

Even if it is impossible to fully get back those much-needed eight hours, you can fake them with a few twists, making you look great and adding a little pep into your sleepy mood.

A deep moisturizing face care
While you lay in bed turning and tossing, longing for peace, your body loses water. Your water loss during the night is equivalent to about four cups of water, whether you are just sleeping or sweating due to the room temperature, and rises even higher if you are dancing the night away. So when getting up after a sleepless night your first action should be reaching for a big glass of water. But make sure to not only hydrate from the inside, but also from the outside.
Hydrate your facial skin with a rich face oil or serum to feed those tired and starved skin cells. The uplifting Serum by Maroma contains aloe vera, cedar wood and sandalwood which will fight those wrinkles leaving you refreshed, moisturized and relaxed. For some extra care apply Under Eye Gel and fight those puffy eyes and soothe any redness with its cooling cucumber and lily extracts.

A superpower mask
If you actually manage to drag yourself out of bed on your first alarm you have the time for a morning mask, which can go a long way toward pepping up your skin. We are in love with this superfast and fresh Spirulina mask.

1-2 tsp spirulina powder
1 tsp or raw coconut oil (optional)
1-2 teaspoons of mineral water

Mix the ingredients into a smooth paste. Apply and leave for 5- 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water.

A hydrating mist
You want to make sure that you keep your skin’s moisture all day long and not lose it naturally; a face and body mist is a luxurious and easy way to keep hydrated. We would recommend you to reach for the alcohol and chemical-free morning dew spray from Aqua Dyn, made only from dynamised water and natural essential oils. The Ylang Ylang and Lotus will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

A pick me up scent
The fresh coffee scent can make us feel awake, even if we have not yet had a sip of it. That is the powerful connection between your brain and your sense of smell at work; so instead of gulping down your coffee or using your coffee machine as an inhaler, we recommend an aromatherapy pick-me-up.
