The monsoon has almost arrived in South India and with it the rainy days, the gray sky and cold winds. To keep the mood up and the mosquitoes at bay, we have created a small list of useful essential oils for your cupboard. If you want to be more elaborate, feel free to try one of our essential oil mixes.

Lavender
The rainy season invites all kinds of bugs into our homes. For a simple solution, soak small cotton balls in lavender essential oils, which will send them a strong message. Furthermore if the cold weather gets to you, Lavender can help you to calm down and make you feel better.

Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is an excellent antibacterial agent, which can help, for example, with skin rashes that are quite common during the monsoon. In case you catch a cold, simply put a few drops on your palm, rub your hand together and take a deep breath. The oil provides quick relief from coughs and helps your airway  relax.

Peppermint
Peppermint is a great mood booster which can help you  get through the sluggish monsoon lows. Furthermore it is a natural and simple solution which keeps mosquitoes at bay. Simply add a few drops into your diffuser.
