We have been growing our own sugarcane strain for more than two decades, and process it ourselves on the farm the traditional way.
• The jaggery lumps are hand-crushed, sun-dried, and sieved to a fine powder.
• It is an excellent natural sweetener and healthy alternative to refined sugar.
• Our jaggery powder does not contain any additives, preservatives, or chemicals.
• We pack our jaggery powder in Eco-friendly compostable bags, keeping our mother earth in mind.

Herbert arrived in Auroville in 1983 and shortly after he involved himself in green work and farming. He started Siddhartha Farm in 1996 which is part of an organic farm network in Auroville. The farm is family-managed and is growing and processing organic food in an ethical, regenerative, and natural way, aiming towards Auroville's food self-sufficiency.
