Two Tumblers, Made in Shigaraki / Japan

- unique art piece, created by Adil Writer -

These are from a series of tableware I had made long ago at a residency in Shigaraki, Japan. I held on to these, hid them away for nearly a decade, now I am letting them go follow their own karmic path! These are made with a special Japanese red clay that throws beautifully, and are decorated with a white slip called Gohondey, which fires to a soft peachy blush! Some pieces in the collection have my signature red-dot-series smear, making them sacred! All have my signature on them and the Japan date.

A unique art piece.
