Aurore has a long tradition of mentoring young students and interns.
It provides a platform for such people to discover themselves through their interests and work. While here, they plan their projects with assistance from counterparts and guides. The ability to interface with a variety of peoples and cultures is a key part of the volunteer experience at Aurore.
Our past students, researchers and potential entrepreneurs have worked on engaging projects ranging from solar thermal refrigeration, solar hybrid vehicle development, electric scooters, a solar PV tracking system, LED lamp design and prototyping, designing environmental exhibitions, conducting social surveys in village and designing websites and promotional materials.
Their inputs are valuable to us in the same way that they value their association with Aurore.
Aurore welcomes students from any background (social/academic) provided they have a proven interest in the environment in general and renewable energy, in particular. Further, they should be willing to commit to a minimum of 3 months with Aurore. Send us your project proposals with details of your interest or area of work. We will guide you.
